Who We Are

Sarah Graham
Speech and Language Therapist

Hi, I'm Sarah! I first studied Psychology at the University of Glasgow, before going on to study Speech and Language Therapy at Queen Margaret University. Since graduating, I have worked as a Speech and Language Therapist in both Scotland and Australia, gaining a wealth of experience supporting children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. I have worked for the NHS in Scotland and in private practice and for the public health care system in Australia. I am passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and have a particular interest in speech sound disorders and early intervention.

I use play-based, evidence-driven techniques that keep children engaged, while helping them to develop the skills they need to thrive! From playing board games and cards, to drawing, playing with dinosaurs, having a teddy bear’s picnic or even doing an obstacle course- I use whatever activities are needed to keep sessions fun and interesting because children learn best when they are enjoying themselves!

My approach is always family-centred - I work with the child and their family to identify and work towards their specific goals.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and little boy. We enjoy exploring the great outdoors, going on camping trips, walking and paddle boarding. I have recently started running, doing the couch to 5k programme- the verdict is still out on whether I am a runner or not!!
